The Human Resources Division provides personnel and payroll services for the Board of Supervisors Department, several independent commissions in addition to other County departments/agencies. The division:

Develops and administers a master contract with four employment agencies for temporary clerical services. County departments requiring temporary clerical support due to special projects, staff vacation, and/or sick leave contact this division which coordinates the entire process through contacting the employment agencies, placing the temporary staff, monitoring the performance provided to the departments and administering the billing and payment.

Coordinates the Countywide Employee Service Award Program.

Coordinates the transition of newly elected County Supervisors and staff as it relates to personnel and payroll matters, including placement assistance for former staff.

Works with the County's Americans With Disabilities Act Coordinator on facility surveys and program review.

Hosts a variety of ceremonies for the Board of Supervisors including, closed session meetings and oath of office ceremonies.
