Program
Public Education Program
Under direction of the Executive Office of the Board of Supervisors,
the  Assessment
Appeals Public Education Program was developed to address the
needs of taxpayers to better understand property tax equalization
and assessment appeal procedures in Los Angeles County. The program
features various seminars on the assessment appeal process with
topics covering taxpayer appeal rights, when and how to file an
application for reduction in assessment, and how to prepare for
a hearing.
