Current Seminar Schedule

On Sunday, March 15, 2020 the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, following an announcement by California Governor Gavin Newsom, announced that all Los Angeles County facilities will be closed to the public beginning March 16, 2020 until further notice in response to the evolving coronavirus (COVID-19) emergency. This is a precautionary measure intended to help slow the spread of COVID-19 in Los Angeles County.

All Public Education Seminars have been temporarily postponed until further notice. You can access the Public Education Seminar video presentation at: http://bos.lacounty.gov/Services/Assessment-Appeals.

The Assessment Appeals Public Education Program was developed to help taxpayers better understand the assessment appeals process in Los Angeles County. This program features seminars and brochures on the assessment appeals process. All Seminars are free and approximately 90 minutes in length. Accommodation for Persons with Disabilities
American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreters and Spanish Language. Translation are available with at least three business days’ notice before the seminar date. Please telephone (213) 974-1471 (voice) or 1(800) 735-2929 (TDD), from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
