IT CONTAINS VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS, AS WELL AS LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS THAT MAY APPLY TO YOU.
Conditions of Payment
These Terms of Payment apply between you and the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors Executive Office (“BOS”) with respect to your payment via BOS's website ("Site"). Payments from this Site are limited to a cardholder who has a billing address within the United States of America ("U.S."). BOS will NOT accept payments through this Site from any party/individual who has a credit card billing address outside of the United States, is not an authorized user of the credit/debit card utilized for the payment to BOS or is making a payment from a foreign country that does not support a minimum of 128-bit encryption. By submitting a payment through this Site, you certify that you meet these and all other requirements set forth in these Terms of Payment.
Please note there will be a service fee for each credit/debit card payment you make using this Site, the amount of which will be disclosed to you in connection with completing such payment.
A credit/debit card payment, limited to credit cards with the MasterCard, American Express and Discover Card logos and debit cards using the Star, Pulse and NYCE services, are the only methods of payment that will be accepted through this Site.
Please note that, in addition to making a payment through this Site, payments to BOS can also be made by mail or in person.
BY MAIL: Check payments made by mail should be addressed to the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors/Lobbyist Section, 500 W. Temple St. Suite 383, Los Angeles, California 90012. Please make checks payable to the County of Los Angeles.
IN PERSON: Cash, check or money order payments can be made in person at the reception desk located in Suite 383 on the third floor of the Kenneth Hahn Hall of Administration, 500 W. Temple Street, Los Angeles, California 90012 between the hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm PST, Monday through Friday.
Your payment is deemed received at the time you select the "Submit Payment" button for a payment if we confirm the transaction and provide you with a confirmation number.
After your payment has been confirmed, you should print the receipt from the Receipt page and keep it with your records. In addition, we will send you an e-mail confirmation to you of your payment.
