On Sunday, March 15, 2020 the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, following an announcement by California Governor Gavin Newsom, announced that all Los Angeles County facilities will be closed to the public beginning March 16, 2020 until further notice in response to the evolving coronavirus (COVID-19) emergency. This is a precautionary measure intended to help slow the spread of COVID-19 in Los Angeles County.
At this time the Assessment Appeals Board, based upon the directive of the Board of Supervisors, is currently postponing most hearings through
July 2, 2020 or until Los Angeles County facilities are open pursuant to a Board of Supervisor's directive, whichever is later in time.
